Katy Pass is a recent graduate of Wesley Theological Seminary, where she earned her Master's of Divinity with a specialization in Children's and Youth Ministry and Advocacy.
Katy moved to D.C. for school from her hometown of Montgomery, AL. She is a certified candidate for Ordained ministry in the Alabama West-Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church. She has worked in United Methodist and Episcopalian churches, and is excited to add the UCC to her list of partner denominations.
Most recently, Katy worked as the chapel intern at Wesley Seminary. In this role, she had the opportunity to plan and lead creative worship services for the school community. She also served as a court appointed special advocate (CASA) for children in the Autauga County foster care system.
Katy is passionate about making church spaces and activities accessible for everyone, particularly children and others who are often excluded. This passion has fueled a love of advocacy and justice work, as well.
