Andrew Welch has recently relocated to Maryland with his wife Cynthia and their three-month-old daughter Alice after living in Providence, RI for the past six years.
While living in New England, Andrew served on the faculties at Brown University and the New England Conservatory, conducted the Falmouth Chorale, and served as director of music ministry at Allin Congregational UCC in Dedham, MA.
Andrew is no stranger to the DC musical community: before his time up north, Andrew served at Dumbarton UMC in Georgetown for six years, and has directed the Epiphany Music Festival, housed here at Westmoreland since 2019.
In addition to his musical work, he is a lover of food cooked both at home and at a restaurant, an outdoor enthusiast, avid reader, and loves spending time with his seven nieces and nephews.
