What to

Expect

We are glad you are thinking of visiting our church. There is no dress code here!  If you are comfortable, we are comfortable.

We offer one worship service on Sunday mornings at 10 am. Children through fifth grade begin worship in the Sanctuary and are invited to Nursery Care or Church School following the Time for Children. Your children will be lovingly cared for while you are in worship.

Worship includes a wide variety of music, including classical organ, our Chancel Choir & soloists, contemporary and gospel music.  Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month and each Sunday during Lent and Advent.

After worship we gather together for friendship (and food!) during our Fellowship Hour in the Social Hall.

If you'd like to take a look at one of our worship bulletins, click here, or watch the videos below to hear from Westmoreland members what they love about our church.

Getting Here

Westmoreland is at the border of Washington, DC and Bethesda, MD, at Westmoreland Circle on Massachusetts Avenue. We are accessible from the Friendship Heights Metro Station (Metro Schedule) by bus or a 20-minute walk; also by buses traveling on Massachusetts Avenue and Dalecarlia Parkway.

Parking is available in the lot off Massachusetts Avenue with additional limited spaces on nearby streets.  If parking on the streets, please park legally and with respect for our neighbors.

Handicapped parking is near the entrances facing Massachusetts Avenue. The ground-level lobby houses an elevator with access to other levels.

There is an accessibility ramp from the sidewalk to the Circle entrance into the Sanctuary plus an accessible entrance from Dalecarlia Drive. If you use this entrance you can reach the Sanctuary via elevators
