Amy Prichard Tutt,
Children's Choir Director
Amy has been the volunteer accompanist for the Children’s Choir for two and half years, and directed a Children’s Choir for ten years at the Tutts’ previous church. Amy has both musical and educational experience. She began playing the piano at age 5, the violin at 9, the trombone at 11, and the viola at 20. She entered college on a scholarship as a Violin Performance major and graduated with a degree in English. Amy played in the Baylor University Orchestra. She taught pubic preschool for children with disabilities for several years in Austin and now teaches as an adjunct English instructor at Montgomery College.
Amy served as our Interim Director of Children’s Ministries in the spring of 2014. She has a Master’s degree in Religious Studies from Georgetown University. Amy also directs the Fellowship of the Ringers, our intergenerational handbell choir, that rehearses Sundays at 11:30 am.
