November 30, 2010-Executive Committee's Charge to the Interim Working Team
At its November meeting, the Executive Committee, called for the Interim Working Team to complete the following tasks for review by the Executive Committee at its December 22, 2010 meeting, and in preparation for the annual congregational meeting on January 23, 2011.
- Take responsibility for nominating individuals for the Pastoral Search Committee (PSC)
- Set in motion a transparent process to give members of the congregation an opportunity to suggest candidates for the PSC
- Recommend to the Executive Committee
- a job description for the PSC members
- a date for the congregation to vote on the members of the PSC
- an ongoing listening and discernment process with expected outcomes
- an outline and timeline of the search and call process
