Film Screening: 'The Mask You Live In'

The Board of Spiritual Formation invites you to the Westmoreland parlor for a screening of the film “The Mask You Live In” by The Representation Project. This film is about boys and young men “as they struggle to stay true to themselves while negotiating America’s narrow definition of masculinity.”

The film discusses how boys and men are taught “to be a man” and how they treat women and the connection to violence. The film was an Official Selection in the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, and received two awards at the Side by Side LGBT Film Festival.

A discussion will follow. Light snacks and drinks will be served.
