New Orchestra of Washington Concert

The New Orchestra of Washington will present the first concert of their 2016-17 season at Westmoreland at 7:00 pm on Saturday, September 17. The concert will include Stravinsky’s “Dumbarton Oaks” and Copland’s “Appalachian Spring.”

The New Orchestra of Washington was founded by Westmoreland musicians Grace Cho and Alejandro Hernandez-Valdez and others five years ago and held their first concert here – that concert included the Appalachian Spring by Copland.
