Preserving Traditions – Improving Lives
- Friday, December 4, 4 to 8 pm
- Saturday, December 5, 10 am to 7 pm
- Sunday, December 6, 11 am to 2 pm
The vendor, Folk Art Mavens, offers a variety of items for sale - embroidery, olive wood, glass, ceramics, jewelry, and more. The gifts for sale are made by women's cooperatives, non-profits, and small family-owned businesses. Each purchase helps artisans living under difficult conditions produce traditional art while receiving fair compensation for their craft.
Five percent of gross profit from the sale will be donated to the Forbes Scholarship Fund at Bethlehem University. American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA), a non-governmental organization that provides humanitarian aid in the Middle East, will receive an equal percentage.
Hosted by the Westmoreland Middle East Committee.
