Palestinian Craft Sale

Folk Art Mavens, a company that markets handcrafted gifts from threatened communities, will hold a sale of Palestinian craft items on Friday evening, December 5, from 4 to 8 pm; Saturday, December 6, from 10 am to 6:45 pm and following that evening’s concert; and Sunday, December 7, from 11:45 am to 2 pm following the 10 am worship service.

The items include embroidery, ceramics, glass, jewelry, olive wood, and more.  These hand-made gifts come from the West Bank, Gaza, and refugee camps in Lebanon.  They are made by women's cooperatives, non-profits, and small family-owned businesses.  Each purchase helps artisans living under difficult conditions produce traditional art while receiving fair compensation.

Folk Art Mavens donates 10% of gross profits to causes that benefit Middle East refugees or students.
