Christian Education - Elisabeth Tisdale Nordbeck Library
The Elisabeth Tisdale Nordbeck Library is located in Room 34 on the sanctuary level of the Church. The Children's Collection is found through the connecting door into the Christian Education Office. The Large Print Collection is in Room 34, while Nonprint Media are found in both rooms. In addition a noncirculating collection of interest to young people is in the Youth Room (Room 40).
The collection contains both reference books, such Atlases, Concordances, and several muti-volume commentaries, and single volumes on bible study, theology, and devotions. We subscribe to The Christian Century, Theology Today and The Fourth R.
Each Sunday books on a special topic are featured on a table in the Social Hall during Coffee Hour.
We regularly add to our collection both through purchases and gifts. The latest additions to the collections are usually described in The Westmorelander.
Look for the orange arrows in the library to point you to the new items. When you remove a book or other media from the library remember to fill out the card and put it in the basket on top of the card case. We love it when books and other items circulate but we want to know where they are.
